After a nail biting drive up the pass from Red Lodge, Montana I felt I could finally breathe! We drove up from flooding rain at the base to near zero at the top with fallen rocks onto the highway along the way. Visibity due to sleet and cloud was low. And then once we passed the peak we came onto this scene in the mountaintops - very grey skies and drizzle but much calmer and less frightening on the highway. We pulled over and took in this scene with snow and a frozen little pond that was beginning to melt. Such relief!!!
