I came upon this scene one evening as I was driving to the lake and photographed it trying to imprint the colors and serenity in my mind. The water was dappled with reeds and reflections. Birds were calling to each other and singing their evening song in the still air.  It was very reluctantly that I got back into my vehicle and drove away. Golden hour is one of the most beautiful times of day!
