Friend or Foe?

Our Canadian Geese are part of our Canadian identity from east to western. They are a regular part of life in my home area of southern Saskatchewan. The geese congregate around freshwater ponds and lakes whether in rural or urban areas. They appear so docile but can be vicious when threatened. It’s been said that they mate for life. I used my photos from the iconic Jasper Park Lodge to compose this scene. We stayed at the Lodge about a month before the devastating Jasper fires.
