Gentle Rest

This was sold through the Mastrius Art Show - an online juried event based out of Calgary, Alberta.

I have enjoyed many sunsets and evenings sitting looking out over Last Mountain Lake in Saskatchewan, Canada. This one just snuck up so calmly as I was visiting with a family member. All of a sudden it caught my attention and I grabbed my camera. It was so quiet and still on the lake. This painting is my recreation of that evening.
