Merry & Bright

I was inspired by some amaryllis bulbs I had. They had bloomed for a few weeks and I knew these were going to be the last. I sat in my dining room one afternoon and painted a very loose rendition of them. Their coral red was such pure chroma! I turned them towards the light because I had noticed they did so naturally.
