Moonlight Serenade

“Moonlight Serenade”, Oil on stretched canvas, 60 x 40 cms (just under 24” x 16”). This was painted from a scene my husband and I viewed in August of 2020. It was the time of Covid and isolation was in full swing. But there’s always a silver lining in difficult times and to our benefit we took more road trips around Saskatchewan. As locals sometimes we miss the attractions that are right near us. We took a day trip down to the Big Muddy area from Willowbunch cross country to Bengough. It was such gorgeous area. We stuck around till sunset and this painting is based on one of the last photos I took that day.
