My Sheep Hear My Voice

Visiting Israel on a bus tour we were driving on a highway in the West Bank area when I saw this shepherd leading his sheep on a dusty path beside the highway. Coming from a cattle farm we often moved livestock alongside and from the rear. I was amazed to see how the sheep freely followed their leader. Quickly I grabbed my camera and snapped a blurry photo. This painting is my impression of that sight.
