Prairie Heart
Prairie Heart
Grain elevators have been the heart of southern Saskatchewan and the Canadian prairies. They were the heartbeat of the movement of grain from farmers’ fields to grain and flour mills. Now as farms become larger more grain is being directly loaded into rail cars or taken by semi to inland terminals. Many small town grain elevators are being demolished and in time no longer to be seen. I loved how a rain shower had passed through this town just before sunset. The dampness reflected the vibrant setting suns rays casting a glow everywhere.
”Prairie Heart” is 18” x 24” in oil. The framed size is 24-1/2” x 30-1/2”. Deluxe gallery frame.
