Saguaro Lake Dam

This painting is based on the sunset cruise aboard the Desert Belle I took several years ago on Saguaro Lake northeast of Mesa, Arizona. The sun setting on the red rock mountains was spectacular! I took a photo knowing I would paint it someday. As a result last year I painted this in oil on gallery cradled board and framed it into a solid wood floating frame.

“Saguaro Lake Dam” was juried into the Scottsdale Artist’s School 2026 Best & Brightest show where it was proudly displayed earlier this year.

The framed size is 26.75” wide x 14.5” height x 2” deep.
